No hay verdad sin mentira. Todo lo que suponemos creer cierto es una percepción personal. Los cronistas del pasado relataron hechos históricos basados en sus propias percepciones, las cuales estaban influenciadas por las interpretaciones de individuos con sus propias creencias. Por lo tanto, no hay verdad sin mentira. Para ilustrar mi punto, soy una mujer salvadoreña, heterosexual, en contra de todo aquello impuesto a una mujer por el hecho de ser mujer. Cuando doy mi opinión sobre algo, la doy influenciada por el hecho de que soy mujer, salvadoreña y feminista. Cada persona, sea quien sea, ha hecho, y hace, lo mismo. Así que, ¿cómo tomar los hechos con certeza de que son la verdad? ¡Imposible!

There is no truth without lies

There is no truth without lies. Everything we assume to be true is a personal perception. Chroniclers of the past narrated historical events based on their own perceptions, which were influenced by the interpretations of individuals with their own beliefs. Therefore, there is no truth without lies. To illustrate my point, I am a Salvadoran woman, heterosexual, opposed to everything imposed on a woman just because she is a woman. When I give my opinion on something, I do so influenced by the fact that I am a woman, Salvadoran, and feminist. Every person, whoever they are, has done and does the same. So, how can we take the facts with certainty that they are the truth? Impossible!
